These  library catalog cards, which I've drawn, collaged and painted on, came from a school library in Framingham, Massachusetts. The series, begun in 2007, was inspired by  my longing for the old-fashioned analog system, the tactile sensation of the catalog cards kept in wooden filing cabinets, now obsolete in almost all public libraries. My catalog cards were the subject of a show at Gallery 1581 in Brookline, Massachusetts, in 2009.
